Xbook Team July 29, 2010
When you begin working on a new Xbook project, it is best to save it under a new name, for example 'Grandma's 80th'. for this you need to go into 'file - save as' and name your file.
Once you have done that we recommend to save the project as you go along, every so often remember to press 'save' so that you don't lose all the progress you have made.
At the end of your project, in order to save the file for future reference, for transporting it or for sharing it with others you are required to save the file as an archive file. this is also important if you are upgrading your computer, changing operating systems etc.
When you go to 'file - save as' you will notice there is a little tick box that says 'save as archive', make sure to tick this box and rename your file to include the word archive, for example: 'Grandma's 80th archive', this file will be significantly larger that the previous one, as it holds all the data required for this job.
