When selecting your page layout (see image), there are pre-selected locations for images as well as text. You will notice on the image below  there are blue and grey boxes - the blue boxes represent picture boxes and the grey boxes represent text boxes.

Each page can have it's own layout - some having lots or only text, and others having none.

These templates can still be edited further but removing boxes or simply ignoring them.

A text box is clearly marked “double click to edit text”. By double clicking that box you may edit the text as you wish - change the size, font and colour.
